Exactly my point with the other comment, very often it's dull skies that create better photo opportunities, regardless of our preconceptions about sunshine being the best weather to shoot in. In sunshine sharpness levels and detail may go up, but excitement and interest levels go down. Blue skies can also be featureless too afterall. I'd take a million shots like this one over so called perfect topsides in bright skies.
